artist statement

I’m a Georgia-based artist working in the realm of expressionistic figure painting through oils and acrylics. My style is defined by fluid brushwork and expressive gestures, which infuse my canvases with a vibrancy born from a bold and unapologetic use of color.

My work is driven by a desire to explore and communicate the collective experiences and emotions of women. I view each piece as a channel for introspection and self-discovery, where the inner landscape of thought and feeling is translated into an external, visual expression. The movement in my brushstrokes mirrors the freedom and flow of dance, emphasizing intuition and spontaneous gestures rather than intentional control. This dance-like approach allows me to blur the lines between internal worlds and external expression, creating a dynamic interaction between the two.

Through my work, I hope to create an invitation for connection—an opportunity to engage with both my experience and your own. Each painting offers a moment of reflection, where you might find something of yourself in the narrative, and perhaps, learn something new about the emotional terrain we all share.
